✨ Experience Africa is an immersive 12-week program crafted to introduce high school students and adults to the vibrant and diverse cultures of Africa, while also offering participants the opportunity to explore and uncover their African ancestry. This hands-on learning experience offers a deep dive into African traditions, customs, art, music, and cuisine. Through engaging activities, participants will gain an appreciation for African heritage and develop skills that promote cultural understanding, personal growth, 

and self-expression.

• Schedule: Sundays (3:00 PM - 6:00 PM) & Fridays (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM)

• African Greetings: Uncover the deep cultural significance of African greetings, which embody respect, honor, and community. Learn gestures and body language that convey warmth and build meaningful connections.

• African Chorus Participation: Immerse yourself in the enchanting musical traditions of Africa, experiencing firsthand the rhythms and harmonies that celebrate life and heritage.
  
• Art Therapy Workshops: Let your creativity flow with hands-on activities like beadwork, pottery, fabric art, and drawing, all inspired by African artistic traditions.
  
• Drama Class: Explore your feelings about Africa, cultural identity, and travel through role-playing and self-expression in a supportive and inspiring environment.
  
• Interactive Storytelling and Oral Traditions: Be captivated by African folktales and oral narratives shared by cultural specialists, uncovering the wisdom, morals, and lessons passed down through generations.
  
• Uncover Your African Ancestry: Embark on a journey to explore your roots. Gain insights into the history, culture, and traditions of your ancestry, connecting the past to your personal identity and heritage.
